BOTN World Cup Fever

The 4th BOTN World Cup is almost upon us and it promises to be our biggest yet!
We currently have over 150 people signed up to take part however this time round there is an automatic qualification process that you can monitor and help guarantee yourself a spot in the massive event!!
We currently have one chap at the top of the list with 91 games played in the past week!
Damn thats some gaming right there!

Season 7 signup info!!

IF YOU WISH TO BE INVOLVED IN SEASON 7 AT BOTN PLEASE READ MORE!

A few things will be changing for the S7 signup.

Firstly, there will be no main signup page for current league members. Each league/division will be pm'd separately and each member will be asked to reply to the pm in order to signup for next season. For Euro/Int leagues, they must also send the team list in the pm reply. There will be a set date to reply by.

There is however a catch. Each league admin has been asked to provide a list of players they think shouldn't get a league spot next season. If you have been slack and had plenty of pooled games in S6 then you will no doubt be on this list. If you are, YOU WILL NOT GET A SPOT IN IN THAT LEAGUE FOR S7! Simple as!! Admin decision is final!

Once all current league members have replied and put team lists in, we will work out the divisions and then open the signup to all other members to apply for the remaining spaces.

Hopefully this will weed out the final few site wasters and get the leagues running nice and smooth.

S7 leagues will run as follows:

Euro 1 - 14 members
Euro 2 - 14 members
Euro 3 - 14 members
Euro 4 - 14 members

G1 - 12 members
G2 - 12 members

I1 - 10 members
I2 - 10 members

Prem - 20 members

UCL1 - 10 members - All sorted
UCL2 - 10 members - All sorted

PES5 league - If enough interest.

All usual league rules will apply.

Euro league teams will be decided by the site rank system. The lowest ranked player will get first choice, then 2nd lowest until the top ranked player in each division gets the final pick.

Galactico league runs as usual. Any team, any match, any time! Simple.

International League will have the usual teams only. Team Choices for The International League are: 1) Croatia 2) Turkey 3) Ukraine 4) Ivory Coast 5) Mexico 6) Australia 7) Denmark 8) Ireland 9) Cameroon 10) Scotland 11) Uruguay 12) USA 13) Paraguay 14) Romania 15) Belgium 16) South Korea 17) Wales. As per Euro league, the lowest ranked player will get first pick, then 2nd lowest etc..

Premiership. Slight change to seeding. Whoever finishes the season as the league winner will take the team who finished bottom and vice versa. If you take current league positions, Tomski would be playing next season as Boro and I'd get the mighty Blackburn (best get winning some more, lol!!)

Obviously the Premiership season is still running, but we will start the seeding of all other leagues. Like I've previously put, all current league members will get a pm to ask if they want to take part (and for team lists). Anyone currently not in a league, or wishes to change league, must wait for the new signup.

Site Behaviour

As most of you are aware, a few banned members have returned recently.

This has sent out the wrong message, and as such all previously banned members have been permanently removed from the site.

If you get yourself banned then you can expect to never be welcomed on this site again.

Speed Updates

I have tweaked the site a bit so most people should now get at least a 2x speed increase when viewing the site.

You will have to wait to download the new changes as they may have been cached. Just clear your cache if your impatient.

If you find some pictures are missing or not showing please let me know as it will be a direct result of the updates I have made.

BOTN 11

I have revamped one of our greatest features the BOTN 11
Each Saturday the site will automatically pick the best team from the past week activities on BOTN! Can you make the team? In a while after some stats have built up we can use the info stored to see who's been picked the most and what positions etc...
